3. Electrical Installation and Usage

The Organizer provides 1kW of electricity & a duplex outlet per company for free for Shell and Premium booths only. Please note that 1kW is sufficient only for minimal use such as charging laptops or mobile phones. Any electrical usage for exhibition equipment or other devices must be applied for in advance. Failure to do so may result in electrical accidents, for which the exhibitor will bear full responsibility and compensation. If you require additional electricity for your exhibits or equipment, please complete the ‘Utility Services Application Form’ via My Page by Friday, August 28.
Electricity application is mandatory for Space Only booths, with a minimum requirement of 1kW per booth.
Power supply specifications within the exhibition hall are as follows. If your equipment requires 110V, you must prepare a step-down transformer on your own.
Exhibitors using refrigeration or freezing equipment must apply for 24-hour electricity service in advance.

Voltage
Description
Lighting Power
Single Phase 220V (60Hz)
● The most commonly used voltage type in the exhibition hall ● Mainly used for heating (via outlets) and lighting within boothsExamples: booth lighting, computers, laptops, general electronic devices
Machinery Power
Three Phase 220V (60Hz)
● Commonly used voltage type for powering machinery ● Primarily for equipment operations, but can be used similarly to Single Phase 220V depending on exhibition usage Definition of ‘Power’ use: excludes general electronics, applies when equipment requires 2.4kW or more per unit Examples: motor operation, heavy-duty machines, equipment with special power requirements
Three Phase 380V (60Hz)
● Similar usage to Three Phase 220V ● Higher voltage, used when large amounts of power are required ● Often used for industrial equipment; Single Phase 220V can be derived from thisExamples: stage equipment, motors, high-capacity machinery

Installation Details

SHELL-SCHME BOOTHS: The main power line installation, lighting, and switches are handled by the exhibition secretariat. (Any power usage other than lighting must be applied for in advance through the secretariat.)
SPACE ONLY BOOTHS: The main power line will be installed by the exhibition secretariat. However, internal electrical work within the booth must be carried out directly by the exhibitor through one of Coex’s official contractors. (All power usage, including lighting, must be applied for in advance through the secretariat.)

Electrical Installation Precautions

For Shell Scheme booths, all internal electrical installations are conducted by the organizer’s designated contractor. However, for Space Only booths, exhibitors must select an official electrical contractor designated by Coex to carry out internal electrical works.
For safety reasons, all types of electrical work must be performed exclusively by official designated contractors.
When displaying sensitive equipment, appropriate safety devices must be installed by the exhibitor. Electricity will be cut off 30 minutes after the exhibition closes each day.
If 24-hour power supply is required, you must apply in advance to the Exhibition Secretariat.
Do not use multi-plug adapters on electric sockets, as this may cause overloading and pose a fire hazard.
Exhibitors must apply for sufficient electricity, including both lighting and equipment power.
If it is confirmed during the setup or exhibition period that the applied electrical capacity is insufficient, the exhibitor must apply for additional electricity immediately.
This requirement is to prevent accidents and maintain safety throughout the exhibition.
If an electrical overload causes a fire or power outage that affects other exhibitors, the responsible party will be held liable for any damages incurred by the Exhibition Secretariat, Coex, or the affected exhibitors.

4. Telephone & LAN Installation

Telephone and LAN installation refers to setting up direct-line phones and internet cables (with assigned IPs) within the exhibitor’s booth. Exhibitors who require these services must submit the Utility Service Application Form via email (foodweekkorea@outlook.com) by Thursday, August 28 (Fri).
All rented phones must be returned during dismantling. In the case of loss, damage, or malfunction due to exhibitor’s negligence, the exhibitor is responsible for covering the full cost of repair or replacement.
Unless there is excessive usage, phone charges will not be billed separately after the exhibition ends.

5. Water Supply, Drainage & Compressed Air

Water supply, drainage, and compressed air for mechanical equipment are available from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM daily.
24-hour water supply is not available. If you are using an ice maker, please turn off the power after the event each day and remove any remaining ice to avoid leakage and potential damage. (No need to apply for 24-hour electricity for ice machines.)
We recommend estimating the amount of ice produced within the first 2 hours of operation and preparing additional ice in advance if needed to ensure smooth operation.
Exhibitors requiring water drainage, or compressed air must submit the Utility Service Application Form via Email (foodweekkorea@outlook.com) by Thursday, August 28.
Y-type plumbing connections are strictly prohibited under the event’s safety regulations. Any damage due to leaks caused by Y-connectors will result in the exhibitor being held liable for entire compensation.
Compressed air is supplied 30 minutes before the exhibition begins and shut off 30 minutes after the end of each day. For safety, exhibitors are asked to close all water and air valves after each exhibition day.
If there's a risk of machine malfunction due to water supply suspension, reduced pressure, or similar issues, the exhibitor is responsible for installing a protective device. The secretariat holds no liability for such damage.
